Vee is a collaborative typeface between Laura Pappa and Tüpokompanii. It draws inspiration from Venus, a sans-serif typeface family released by the Bauer Type Foundry in 1907 that was popular throughout the first half of the twentieth century. Having regularly worked with Venus in her own designs, Laura was eager to develop a typeface that references its distinctive character while introducing new qualities of its own. Vee could be considered Venus’ younger, more mischievous sister.
